Found my dress

Last night I bought "the dress".  I always watch say yes  to the dress and they are exactly right when they say when you put it on you just know.  I had tried on another dress 5 times that I was thinking was the one.  Last night before deciding on that dress I tried on a few more including the one I bought.  I tried MY dress on and I knew the second I put it on that it was the one, I didn't even want to try on another dress, but of course I did.  The next dress I put on was the one that I had already tried on 4 times before.  I felt like the dress I had tried on earlier had put it to shame.  None of the other dresses were anything compared to my wedding dress.  It is so hard to keep it a secret to what it looks like especially from Justin, but it is going to be amazing when he sees me walk down that aisle with it on for the very first time. :)

Fairytale Venue

On Sunday we went and looked at our first venue: The Acanthus on Lake Lyman.  I had being telling my parents for the last two years that was where I wanted to get married.  Seeing it in real life made me love it even more.  Justin and I as well as my parents knew this was the place we were going to get married.  We will be getting married there on May 21, 2011.  The reception is also located here and it will be around back in a large pavilion on the lake! If you want to look at some of the pictures you can go to their website!

We're Engaged!!

On May 14, 2010 Justin popped the big question. He took me down to Falls Park in Downtown Greenville. Took me to a swing and said some of the sweetest things. He told me that he wanted to love me forever and take care of me for the rest of his lives but he could not do that without one thing..... He got down on one knee and he asked me to marry him :) It was wonderful! We then walked across the street and went to dinner at an amazing restaurant called High Cotton (if you haven't eaten there you definitely need to as soon as you can!) After dinner my fiance took me on a horse and buggy ride all through downtown Greenville. It was woulderful and he definitely gave me the best proposal ever!
